About Me

I live in the island of Gabriola in British Columbia. My years working as a forester in the woods of British Columbia has greatly influenced my art work.

I work mainly in acrylic, but will utilize other mediums to produce my work. My style has been influenced by my mother's and brother's work as well as Robert Burridge.  I grew up drawing and painting mainly using watercolor. I am drawn to the freedom and color intensity of acrylics, and enjoy the ability to apply watercolor techniques to various supports.

Most of the work posted on this blog was created with children as the targeted audience.
