This painting started very abstract with only yellow and red blending to orange. I was looking at it thinking it looked like lava. A friend of mine brought his son over and the boy asked me if the painting was of lava. I decided that I had to make it into lava after we both thought the same thing. There is almost none of the original red and yellow abstraction remaining.
